The Sea Shanty Cafe has a wonderful family feel (this includes a welcome to our family members with four legs) and I can personally recommend their bacon and egg breakfast baps!
The Sea Shanty Cafe serves a selection of home cooked meals, snacks and drinks with indoor and outside seating. You can feel that it is a huge part of Branscombe’s history just by looking up at it from the shore, and you get the sense of it being an important resting place for wiry fishermen to recouporate after a long day or night at work on the sea.
It’s only a 30 minute walk away from your barn at Pitt Farm. The gravel path leading from the lane takes you past the National Trust property Manor Farm and Manor Mill before guiding you through fields of cow and/or sheep. This path is suitable for buggies and wheel chairs. There is a car park at the beach (but it is a bit pricey). If you wanted a shorter walk, I would suggest parking at the Village Hall and following the signs to Manor Mill.
The Shanty has a small shop attached to it selling ice creams, holiday essentials and holiday gifts.
