If you are staying at Pitt Farm Branscombe for a birthday or anniversary, a meal at Hugh’s canteen in Axminster or one of his events/courses would make an excellent pressie for a loved one.
Friends of ours (from up the lane) book an event every year and they are slowly building up their repertoire of ‘foodie’ skills. They have learnt to safely forage for mushrooms and how to cook them. How to preserve and produce amazing jams, chutneys and liqueurs…and not to mention that Andrea could now service the whole village with cakes due to her amazing baking skills.
We have enjoyed Sunday lunch at the canteen. Our children were made very welcome and entertained sufficiently to allow us to enjoy the tasty food in front of us -Thumbs up all round!
